About

I am a young cellist who has studied cello for more than nine years. I fell in love with the cello when I was very young and heard a cello recording on the radio. The cello perfectly represents the human voice, which makes it able to so powerfully convey the range of human emotions–from pure joy to devastating loss. Some of the most beautiful classical works ever written were written for the cello, and I have been studying with Noreen Silver, principal cellist of the Bangor Symphony Orchestra, for many years as I learn these important classical works.

I am a prize winning cellist and have earned prizes in both state and international competitions. In 2026, I placed first in the Maine High School Concerto Competition and earned the opportunity to play as a guest soloist with the Bangor Symphony Orchestra. In 2025, I was awarded the Future in Music Prize from Young Stars of Maine and was a second-place prize winner in the Maine High School Concerto Competition. In previous years, I have earned the Summer Cello Prize for Maine and was a prizewinner in the Charleston International Music Competition and Young Composers of Maine. I have been featured on From the Top’s Daily Joy and served as principal cellist in two youth orchestras in Maine. I currently study chamber music at Bay Chamber Music School and piano with Sojourner Crowley. I work as a cellist and cello mentor for Mozart Mentors Orchestra in Maine.

I am also interested in a wide variety of musical genres. I have studied composition for five years and enjoy composing classical works as well as music for video games and special events. My works have been played at the Winter Solstice Cello Fest in Bangor, Maine, as well as weddings and birthday celebrations from Maine to New Jersey. A recent composition is also being used in an independently-published video game.

Music is my life, and after years of study, I am excited to share my talents both as a musician and a composer with others.
